Founder of Polished Dental, Tara has been in the dental field since 2009. She started as an assistant, while earning her Bachelor's degree in Biology. After leaving the field for a few years, she decided dentistry was where she wanted to be and went back to school for dental hygiene. Since graduating hygiene school in 2016, she has practiced in several offices in both Maine and New Hampshire as an assistant and hygienist. Most recently she has been practicing at Bethel Family Dentistry, whom she still works closely with for patients restorative needs. With Bethel's growing population and demand for dental providers, she recognized a great opportunity to help the community by opening an independent dental hygiene office. She states, "I'm most excited about working in a relaxed atmosphere, giving full attention to each patient in a one on one environment".

Polished Dental has been in operation since July 2024, continuing to learn and grow with the best ways to serve the people of Western Maine in their preventative dental needs.
